Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is applicable to the HappyFace app (hereinafter referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices, which was developed by Deep Quick Photography (hereinafter referred to as “Service Provider”) as a Freemium service. This service is provided “AS IS”.

Information Collection and Use

The Application acquires the information you supply when you download and register the Application. Registration with the Service Provider is not mandatory. However, bear in mind that you might not be able to utilize some of the features offered by the Application unless you register with them.

The Service Provider may also use the information you provided them to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.

1. Face Data Policy

1.1 Special reminder regarding Collected Face Data

We analyze your photos to find characteristic points of the face (such as eyes, nose, and mouth points) for face processing purposes.

We do not collect facial data. After the analysis process is completed, all data will be deleted and no data will be saved. Refusing to provide the above information may prevent you from using core functions, but it will not affect the normal use of other functions and services.

1.2 The Purpose and Process of Collecting Facial Data

The complete process is:

You submit selected photos to our server in an encrypted manner;
The server analyzes your photos and applies it to the content you choose;
After synthesis is completed, the server returns the final rendering effect to you through the application;
The final effect is temporarily stored in encrypted storage for your timely viewing and saving, and will be permanently deleted after 24 hours.

After the synthesis process is completed, we immediately delete the original face images you submitted to the server.

Automatically Collected Information

The Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to:

The type of mobile device you use;
Your mobile device's unique device ID and IP address;
Your mobile operating system and the type of mobile Internet browsers you use;
Information about the way you use the Application.

Location Information

This Application does not gather precise real-time information about the location of your mobile device. It may collect your device’s approximate location to help the Service Provider with:

Geolocation Services: Providing personalized content and relevant recommendations.
Analytics and Improvements: Analyzing user behavior to improve performance.
Third-Party Services: Periodically transmitting anonymized location data to external services to optimize offerings.

Third-Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application. The Application utilizes the following third-party service providers:

Expo
Sentry
RevenueCat

Data Retention and Opt-out Rights

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application. Automatically Collected information is retained for up to 24 months. You can halt all collection of information by uninstalling the Application using the standard uninstall processes.

Children's Privacy

The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it will be immediately deleted.

Security

We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information we process. Access is limited to authorized employees and contractors who need the information to operate or improve the Application.

Consent

By using the Application, you are giving your consent to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. "Processing" includes collecting, storing, deleting, and using information on a hand-held device.
